Dear Colleagues,

2027 International Workshop on Computational Nanotechnology (IWCN 2027) will be held in the Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu, Taiwan, on April 19-22, 2027.

IWCN is the leading forum for discussing current trends and future directions in computational nanotechnology, which covers all aspects of advanced simulation of electronic transport and optoelectronic processes in semiconductors and semiconductor devices.

IWCN 2027 will be held both in person as well as live streaming for oral presentations. Poster presentations and vendor booths will be held on-site. We are open for your contributions on following topics, but not limited to

• Electronic, thermal, and spin transport, and first-principles calculations for transport studies
• Advanced CMOS: FinFET, GAA, nanosheet, CFET, oxide-semiconductor devices, cryogenic CMOS
• More-than-Moore devices: photonic, memory, sensor, power, energy-efficient, spintronic, bioelectronic, and organic/molecular devices
• BEOL components: interconnects, contacts, vias, electromigration
• Low-dimensional channel materials: 2D transition metal dichalcogenides, carbon nanotube transistors
• Computing beyond binary: neuromorphic computing, quantum computing, brain-inspired nanoelectronics

• Abstract submission deadline: November 22, 2026
• Notification of acceptance: January 25, 2027
• International Wigner Workshop (IWW 2027, co-located): April 19, 2027
• IWCN 2027: April 19–22, 2027

Submission

Open for abstract submission with two pages in PDF format, including figures and tables. Accepted papers will be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore in a format of four-page full paper.
